Alia Shenasa

I’m Alia, and I am proud to call myself an Associate Clinical Social Worker. I received my MSW from California State University, Fullerton, in 2023, where I graduated with academic honors. I have over a decade of experience in human services in a range of settings, including hospitals, nonprofit clinics, schools, and residential settings. I have had the privilege of providing psychotherapy to individuals experiencing a range of diagnoses, including but not limited to Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Substance Use Disorders, and Major Depressive Disorder. My therapeutic approach combines gentle curiosity, support, and accountability, drawing from cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and person-centered approaches to tailor care to each client’s unique needs.

I strive to create a nonjudgmental, safe, and culturally responsive space for exploration and healing. It would be an honor to be part of your journey and to support you here at Assure Recovery Center.
