Chris Masias brings a deeply personal and powerful perspective to his role as Program Director at Assure Recovery Center. Having walked the path of substance abuse and mental health struggles himself, Chris knows firsthand the darkness many of our clients face. Like many, he reached a point in his life where change wasn’t just necessary—it was non-negotiable. But Chris didn’t turn his life around because he was forced to. He did it because he was finally ready to fight for himself—and for his family.

A proud graduate of the very program he now leads, Chris is a living example of the healing and transformation that’s possible at Assure. His journey from client to leader is more than inspirational—it’s the beating heart of our mission. Chris shows up every day not just as a director, but as someone who has been there, and who deeply understands what it takes to get out.

He has devoted his life to saving others, using his experience, empathy, and relentless drive to guide individuals toward recovery and purpose. Chris doesn’t just talk about change—he is the change.
