Dearl Powell

My name is Dearl. I am a dedicated and compassionate substance abuse counselor who brings both professional training and deeply personal experience to his work. Over a decade ago, I faced his own battles with substance use and mental health challenges. My life took a turning point after the loss of my mother to cancer, a painful but powerful moment that inspired me to seek healing and transformation.

Determined to honor her legacy and create a better future for myself I made the decision to pursue my education and begin the long journey of recovery. Through perseverance, support, and self-reflection, I rebuilt my life and discovered a passion for helping others who are facing similar struggles.

Now, 15 years later,  l have experience and clinical knowledge to support individuals on their path to recovery. I believe in meeting clients with empathy, honesty, and hope offering a safe space where healing and change are possible. My work is grounded in the belief that everyone deserves a second chance and that with the right support, transformation is always within reach.
